TED Ed - Why Shakespeare loved Iambic Pentameter
This was my second time working on a TED Ed project with animator - Brad Purnell. This time I was asked to produce something combining Shakespearean harpsichord music and... Pirates It all makes sense when you watch the video. Enjoy.
TED Ed - Feedback loops: How nature gets its rhythms
For this project, I worked together with animator - Brad Purnell to create an educational video, based on the script by Anje-Margriet Neutel. I have been a fan of TED videos for some time and felt honoured when I was asked to work with them. The script was crammed full of musical references, which inspired me to create the variety of musical elements heard in the video.
This piece of music was created for dance performance 'Le Papillon', an abstract representation of the life cycle of the butterfly, presenting its four distinct stages of metamorphosis through contemporary dance. The piece was directed by Michaela Cisarikova and performed between 25th-29th March 2014 at The Space Theatre in London. The entire soundtrack can be heard here
Michaela Cisarikova Showreel
This showreel was created for Michaela Cisarikova - Artistic Director and Choreographer of MCDC (Michaela Cisarikova Dance Company).
I was asked by Michaela to compose a piece of music inspired by the works of Steve Reich.
Exceptional London-based Photographer, Ed Thompson, approached me regarding his latest work: Occupy London.
My job was to clean up the audio, which had been recorded inside a tent, and create some subtle background music to support the spoken word poetry. The slideshow went viral and has already been re-tweeted to more than 400,000 people.
My latest project was working on the hit iPhone game: Wooords, by Stray Robot Games.
My input including composing the music for the game's different menus and level modes as well as designing all of the rewarding sound effects to fit the game's playful graphical style!
This project was a lot of fun and I thoroughly enjoyed working for Stray Robot Games!
